Keeping Up With Kpop

This is a twitter bot that scrapes headlines from Soompi.com, generates a tweet from ChatGPT, and posts it on Twitter using the Twitter API.

FirstPick

This is an app that allows you to register you account and the characters you play, and it recommends you which champs to play in countermatchups based off data from op.GG. There is a database of user info so you can use this whereever you would like! Uses MySQL, CleverCloud Hosting, and scraping from the website.

Professor's Research

This app utilizes OpenCV to take pictures of a card, then uses PyTesseract OCR to process the image and display how many would be left in my deck. There is a demo linked below.

Top-Down Tech Demo

A quick Top-Down demo I made in Unity to show some friends how dialogue, animations, movement, and basic Unity Fundamentals work. Fullscreen Compatible, assets are a mix of mine and Cup Noodle on itch.io.

Princess Starshine

This is a bullet heaven game I made in GMU's Game Developement club. We worked with alongside multiple teams such as art and sound design in order to make this over the semester. I contributed to coding UI, enemy movement, and player behaviors. Its developed in Unity and uses C#.

Dish Detective

My first hackathon project. I attended VCU's Megahack in March of 2024. It utilizes Google Cloud Vision as well as chatGPT. The user takes a picture of groceries they may have, then the website generates a recipe that can be shared.` This project was a bit of a nightmare, I navigated through the wifi going down, my two groupmates taking a 38 hour lunch break (I submitted solo) and crashing at my friends' apartment.

FocusUp!

This is an app that gives my phone a notification every time I am on Visual Studio and it makes sure I don't get distracted while I code!

And many more!

I'm constantly working on new things, and I put all my favorite projects in here! I will update this as I make newer projects that I'd like to show off.

Skills

Python

Software Development

Before my first coding class in high school, I used to think that programming was very mundane and I would hate it. This all changed because of Python, and since then programming has become something I genuinely enjoy, and a lot of my personal projects have been made using python.

Java

Software Development

Taking CS211 was definitely... an experince. Last minute grade posting, a final given 45 minutes late, and instructions written by ChatGPT really forced me to put a lot of self studying into Java.

UNITY

Game Development

During my first semester in college, I was scrambling to find a group where I felt like i "fit in" and finding GMU's Game Developement Club really helped me. I spent a lot of time learning alongside my teammates and now have a lot of experince with Unity and C#. Working in a team is one of my favorite parts, and I hope to continue to be a part of the org until I graduate!
